Every NAHRS or MLA member is invited and encouraged to submit a nomination for the NAHRS Award for Professional Excellence, formerly the NAHRS Librarian of the Year Award. The nominee must be a member of NAHRS. The Award recognizes outstanding leadership and exceptional librarianship in meeting the information needs of nursing and allied health professionals.

The Awards Committee will review the nominations and make a recommendation to the NAHRS Executive Board. Presentation of the award will take place at the NAHRS annual business meeting.
